Mission & approach
Our mission is to responsibly plan, fund, execute, and accomplish a series of clinical observations regarding a projected treatment approach for HIV. Appropriate medical, and laboratory oversight will apply.
When observation prove the protocol being successful. Is the long-term aim to provide, and release, such medication at meaningfully lower cost than many patients currently face for only antiretroviral therapy.
The need
HIV remains a significant global health challenge, with tens of millions of people living with the virus worldwide. Antiretroviral therapy has transformed HIV from what was once a near-certain fatal diagnosis into a manageable chronic condition for many, but it requires lifelong treatment, and cost and access remain real barriers for many patients globally.
We believe it's worth properly investigating whether alternative treatment approaches will improve outcomes, and reduce costs for patients. In an investigational system, done ethically, rigorously, and with professional care, and control.
Our planned approach
Careful planning first
Prior to any physical observations: perfect planning, and securing project funding.
Appropriate oversight
Any future observations will involve qualified medical doctors, nursing staff, and accredited laboratories.
Patient wellbeing
Participants would receive proper medical care throughout, with transport and other practical support arranged where needed.
Financial transparency
We intend keeping supporters updated, on our website, on fundraising status, and project progress, as the initiative develops.
